Here are mockups and actual in-game screen grabs of the Green Kingdom map. I wanted to create a hedge maze that would have several paths which you'd see but couldn't get to until you understood the maze, and also places where the BRIDGE sprite would allow you to reach. Remember, the BRIDGE sprite allows you to travel basically vertically overtop Background graphics. The KEY screen appears twice as landmarks of the edges of the maze, and also to save a screen in memory, and also to perhaps confuse people initially.

The C / C' path: as a variation, I will sometimes eliminate the C screen and have that path go to C'. Also, by switching A&E exits ports, or B&D exits ports, etc -- I can add randomness to one mode of the game.
